This place has very good quality Chinese food. Aside from Convoy Street, it comes close to the authentic cuisine I grew up with in NYC. The salt and pepper wings are SOOO tasty—incredible! I also ordered the pork, and it wasn’t my favorite. I was hoping for a char siu-style dish, but this was a bit chewier and had less flavor than I expected. If anyone has recommendations for great char siu in San Diego, please comment below 😉 Thanks!

This might be one of the most underrated Szechuan restaurants I've tried recently. The food is packed with bold flavors, yet somehow not many people seem to know about it. Let's check it out The elegant dining room, attention to detail, and elevated take on traditional Szechuan cuisine create a much more upscale experience than you might expect. The menu does a great job of catering to different tastes, offering everything from familiar American-Chinese favorites to bold, authentic Szechuan specialties. We kicked things off with their chicken wings, which came out perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A must-order is the seafood wonton soup, served with crispy rice that the staff mixes in tableside to maintain its crunch. The tangerine chicken is also well-executed with a glossy glaze. For authentic flavors, the Mapo Tofu is smooth and a little spicy, while the Kung Pao Beef is tender and aromatic. Don’t miss the classic Honey Walnut Shrimp Generous portions, bold flavors, and an elegant atmosphere make this spot well worth a visit.

I can't believe I didn't know this place existed until now. The food was delicious. It's the only chinese food I will eat going forward. It's definitely worth the drive from my house. My husband ate the leftovers 2 days later and it was still sooo good. We ordered the tangerine chicken, Shanghai crispy pork, spicy honey & sesame shrimp and Kung pao beef.

When we’re craving Chinese food, we’re going to Chin’s every time. We usually get take out but today we dined in and wow, the service was incredible. I can’t remember our servers name but he was so kind and helpful just like everyone there! We absolutely love the salt and pepper wings, the walnut shrimp, black pepper beef, mapo tofu and orange chicken. The fried rice and lo mein are always great add ons and I have to get the cream cheese wontons.

We are new to this place - have gone back 3 times already. Small restaurant with a nice atmosphere - the food keeps you going back for more. Quality food that keeps you going back for more, great service and a nice menu selection. While it seems much busier on the weekends with a wait of about 15 minutes, it is always well worth it. I have attached some photos from two of our recent visits showing our table full of delicious plates.
